Brett Fauver, one of the unsung heroes of the short-lived wonder that was The Idiot Box, finally lost his battle with cancer on New Year's Eve, 2009.

Brett was an uncredited writer on all ten of the episodes of our first cycle, along with serving as our cameraman and executive producer. He helped us take this little brainchild of R.J. and me and make it a reality.

As we were beginning work on our aborted second cycle, Brett suffered his fifth relapse of Hodgkin's disease. Production on the series was postponed indefinitely until he could recover. He never did.

Condolences go out to his family from myself and from the entire Idiot Box crew.
